Jennifer Brooker and her dog

My name is Jennifer Brooker and I am the owner of Snorkel Sydney’s Canine Hydrotherapy. I personally have experienced the many benefits of hydrotherapy and laser therapy for my beloved dogs: Berkley and Sydney. They are my inspiration as they led me to this passion. Berkley had severe hip dysplasia and Sydney had a TPLO to repair a cruciate tear when she was younger. Even though both had mobility issues, they lived healthy and happy lives until the ages of 15 and 14, respectively. I am certain that without these modalities, they would have crossed over the rainbow bridge much sooner. I want other dogs to have access to these services so they can live their best, longest lives and so you, as the pet parent, can enjoy your dogs as long as possible.

I am a certified and insured canine hydrotherapist and massage therapist. I received my certifications in Canine Hydrotherapy and Canine Remedial Massage Therapy at the Canine Health and Wellbeing Academy under the supervision of Michelle Monk, a leading canine rehabilitation expert in Australia with over fifteen years’ experience specifically in the field of canine physiotherapy and with a Master’s Degree in Animal Physiotherapy. As part of my training, I completed several case studies and participated in live workshops to demonstrate knowledge and skill.

I have also completed continuing education with Companion Animal Health on Photobiomodulation therapy, also known as laser therapy.
