1. Dogs will not be treated without the prior veterinarian authorization as required by the Oregon Veterinary Board.
  2. Owners are required to notify Snorkel Sydney’s Canine Hydrotherapy if during a course of treatments, the dog’s injuries or condition worsens, or if the Veterinarian advises that the treatment is stopped or suspended.
  3. Owners are required to notify Snorkel Sydney’s Canine Hydrotherapy of any food allergies so treats that can cause a reaction can be avoided.
  4. Session fees may be charged in full if an appointment is broken or cancelled without 24 hours’ notice.
  5. Dogs with infectious or contagious conditions, such as eye, ear or skin infections will not be treated. Owners are advised to cancel all appointments with at least 24 hours’ notice, until the condition is resolved. Normal cancellation conditions apply.
  6. Dogs which have suffered from diarrhea within 72 hours prior to the scheduled appointment are asked to reschedule the appointment.
  7. Snorkel Sydney’s Canine Hydrotherapy requires proof of vaccination. Unvaccinated animals will need to reschedule until proof of vaccination is provided.
  8. While every care is taken of the dogs undergoing treatment and in the maintenance of the water and equipment, all dogs receive hydrotherapy treatment entirely at their owner’s risk.
  9. Snorkel Sydney’s Canine Hydrotherapy reserves the right to refuse treatment.
  10. Payment is due before or at the time of service.
  11. Any packages or pre-payments purchased are non-refundable.
  12. Owners are requested not to exercise their dogs on days receiving hydrotherapy as this can interfere with progress made.
  13. Owners are requested not to feed their dog for at least 4 hours before attending an appointment and ensure that the dog has emptied its bowels before arriving. A surcharge of $125 may be charged for dogs that defecate in the underwater treadmill.
  14. Owners are advised not to feed their dog their normal meal for approximately 1 hour after hydrotherapy.
  15. Snorkel Sydney’s Canine Hydrotherapy reserves the right to use video footage and take photographs during sessions for commercial purposes.
  16. It is the owner’s responsibility to pick up any poop left by their dog while on the premises.
  17. Snorkel Sydney’s Canine Hydrotherapy cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or personal property, or any loss or injury to any person or animal while on company premises.
  18. Any controversy or claim arising out of services provided shall be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.
